The Dodo — a leading digital publisher sharing heartwarming, viral animal stories with millions of viewers across multiple platforms.
Campaign Overview:
A UGC-based short video designed to emotionally hook viewers within the first five seconds. Told the story of Ginger, a rescued pit bull who became a “mom” to other fosters, as part of The Dodo’s Foster Diaries series.
My Role:
Identified the story subject, secured releases, directed UGC capture, conducted a remote interview, and edited platform-specific versions for maximum reach and retention. Managed video versioning for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Facebook, and X. Optimized copy, captions, thumbnails, branding, and aspect ratios — each tailored to the platform. Developed a brand book for editors to ensure consistent, streamlined UGC storytelling.
